We have officially hit the 150-day mark, so it should be any day now. At least, that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m telling myself! 😂With November comes something else&#8230; my favorite holiday! Thanksgiving! We don&#8217;t have extended family gatherings to worry about, so we get to enjoy Thanksgiving without the stress that comes with some big family get-togethers. For us, it&#8217;s about good food, family, and enjoying the day together. Now, cooking Thanksgiving dinner really isn&#8217;t all that different from cooking an everyday meal around here. My family likes to eat! And apparently, we like our milk too. I know some people find it mind-blowing that we go through about 65 gallons of milk in a month. Yes, you read that correctly! With a family our size, that&#8217;s just another month around our house! 😂One thing I love about Thanksgiving is seeing which dishes make it onto the menu each year. Last year, my kids added homemade mac and cheese to our Thanksgiving dinner. I love that they are starting to add their own favorites and traditions to our holiday meal. Who knows what will make the menu this year! So, while I&#8217;m waiting for those babies to finally make their appearance, keeping up with the normal housework, doing outside chores, and homeschooling the children, I&#8217;ll also be planning and looking forward to my favorite holiday.November is also the month when so many people take time to share what they&#8217;re thankful for. I love seeing that, but for me, I try to remember to be thankful every day. That doesn&#8217;t mean I always show it or stop long enough to say it, but there is so much in my life that I&#8217;m grateful for.Between family, our homestead, and all the animals that keep life interesting, there&#8217;s certainly plenty to be thankful for.Now I&#8217;m curious&#8230; What&#8217;s your favorite holiday, and what&#8217;s your favorite dish to make for it?</news:title></news:news></url></urlset>
