For Christmas my wonderful husband got me a sewing machine! After reading the instruction booklet and getting no where because to me it was like reading a foreign language. I turned to YouTube videos, watching those for two and half days I finally felt that I could give it a try and for about an hour I couldn’t get my machine threaded. My wonderful husband came up to see how I was doing and after watching one of the videos he was able to get it threaded! I still have a lot to learn and I need to remember the names of the things but for right now I have my own names for them. For example this is a rotary cutter
I call it a pizza cutter🤣. I did get my first blanket made tonight I made a few mistakes but over all I like it for my first time.

Backyarding And Kids 
Awesome! My mom taught me to sew as a child, and now I taught my granddaughters! A blanket is a great first project, next try a pillow! Before you know it, you will be able to make anything!
