My wonderful husband got me a few new things last night. He got me a little tree for right now I will leave it in the pot and then in the spring time do a bigger pot. He also got me this cute blue gravy boat filled with chocolates. Yum! What I love the most is the beanie he got me! It says Merry Elfin Christmas on it and it lights up!( I can’t get the switch to work but my husband can lol) Now I have a new beanie to wear when I go out to clean or feed/water the chickens 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #lovemynewstuff #lovemynewhat #merrychristmas

Girls ( chickens ) are not happy when their water has froze. I’ve looked into heated bowls just haven’t decided on what one I would like to get for them. This morning they look like they were playing a game of “kick the can” ( it’s an old game from back in the day). Only the can was their water jug. So for right now until I decide which heated water bowl will be best I have two water jugs for them. The frozen one comes in and gets cleaned and thawed out while the one from the house will go out in the morning for them. #chickens #ilovemychickens #coldoutside

This evening I hosted a holiday party. I made pizza boats!

They were fun and easy to do. Taking tortilla shells and cutting circles into them. I didn’t have a round cookie cutter so I used a measuring cup. 🤣 the recipe that you see going around on the Internet calls for you to dip in butter oregano garlic mixture after you get the rounds cut out.

But with doing this they didn’t turn crisp while baking as it says it will. They became soggy. I took my other rounds that I had and didn’t dip them in the butter mixture. They toasted up nicely! 😁 No one could tell the difference and they were all gone! In my opinion definitely fun to make and definitely cool for a party!

What is it about kids and climbing? Im not talking about trees or hills/ mountians. I’m talking about counters, a dresser, the walls, or my curtains! It’s human nature to explore!! Climbing is one way to learn just like touching everything in the store! They are learning how each item feels. With climbing learning how to pull yourself up and where to put your foot, it’s all part of learning.. you know what else is a part of learning having your heart jump into your throat every time they do this. You would think having five kids I would be use to it all but it’s still scary as hell when your toddler starts climbing!

When your child accomplishes something you feel so proud of them. You just want to shout it from the roof tops. With that being said.. let’s have an update on potty training. He’s doing very well, getting the hang of number one. Number two however wasn’t going so smoothly. I laugh because you would think that going crap would be the easier thing to do. I mean going under the table to squat down and take a crap takes time! Night we had a break through! We made to the potty! #nounderthetabletonight #pottytraining #yay

Everyone has random thoughts through out the day heres one of mine.. I hope when the apocalypse comes that it comes at Christmas! I know this sounds bad I mean it’s Christmas, a happy time right! My reason why…because that is when all the summer sausage gift baskets are out! I love summer sausage, so I would go and get all the gift baskets so I could eat it all!! #myhappniess😂😂😂 #ilovefood

Today I got some new Christmas decorations! They are hearts and the color of each of the kids birthstone. I really like them. I told my husband I wouldn’t mind leaving them up all the time 😂😂. With our tree falling over about a week ago I didn’t want to put anything else on the tree and I still have not found a tree topper! So I thought it would be fun to hang these off the Garland that hangs above the patio window. #christmas # birthstones # awesome

B&BW ( Bath and Body Works) my favorite store. They had their candle sale yesterday! I love the Winter Candy Apple scent! The store was packed, thankfully I only had my daughter with me. She had fun smelling all the candles. She did almost get run over by crazy shoppers not watching for some one so small but she handled it well being this is the first time I’ve taken her in there with me when it’s been that busy. If you been to Bath and Body Works during a really good sale like what they had on their candles you know what I mean about it being totally nuts in there. We ended up of course getting the Winter Candy Apple candle and she picked out for the other candle Black Cherry. I’m so glad it’s the weekend! This week was a long one for me, our Christmas tree fell on Thursday night. My tree topper my husband got me when we were first married was smashed into tiny bits. I was very sad! For this weekend I’m hoping to get my hallway finished. You would think that sense it’s just a fresh coat of white paint that I would have it done in no time… But then I have to stop and say to myself. I have five kids lol who we do online schooling with, errands, cleaning the house. I’m amazed on what I do get done in a day and other times I feel like I get nothing done. I love my girls ( chickens) they make me laugh, they make me smile, and they also provide some mystery! Like who laid the egg on the very bottom of the coop! I had to crawl in there to get it as I was doing this it dawned on me that I should of gotten my small rake and raked it out.. that’s a “duh moment”. I know there are ways to check your chickens to see who has laid. Honestly I don’t want to be my girls( chickens) ob! So it will remain a mystery!
