It’s getting chilly here where I live. Soon it will be time for a scarfs, coats, gloves..and everything else that you need to keep yourself warm. One of my best friends🖤 gave me a lot of yarn. I’m in love with all the colors she gave me but this brown and blue one I just can’t get over it! It is my absolute favorite out of all the yarn colors. I decided to make a scarf with it.

Now I just have to make sure to work on it along with my other twenty million craft projects I have going on. My other best friend🖤 gave me some fabric! I’m excited to find some matching themes to go with the colors she gave me. My new line of quail chicks have hatched! They are looking great and I’m excited to see these ones grow out. If I’m lucky they will have the celadon gene! They will lay blueish/greenish eggs if they have this gene!

This morning I spent sometime with my girls ( chcikens) they had some kale and mealworms. Yum! I also took apart their feeders for some good cleaning!

One of my quail girls laid a nice large egg! You can see the difference in the size. It’s not the size of a bantam egg, but you can see in the second photo that its almost as far as in height but not in width.

My week has been long and crazy but good. Although my almost 2 year old some how got into the upstairs bathroom and manged to turn on the water for the sink plug the sink and flood us! Lol… nothing like having water coming from the upstairs. I told the older kids they have to make sure the doors get shut.. it has a handle lock on it but that only works if they actually shut the door! After cleaning up water… I went out to check on my girls. Bella is the last one to be going through a molt. She starting molting about a week ago. She still wanted to look cute for a photo though.

This was our first week of school! I have a sophomore, 5th grader, 2nd grader,and a preschooler this year. We had some bumps .. like my almost two year old turning off the computers 🤣 . So far my preschooler is adjusting well to doing school.
