The day for the kids and I has been a long one. I really don’t like it when they have a lot of essay to write for multiple subjects. I try to teach them that there is always going to be things in their life that they don’t like but they still need to do it as best as they can. For my lunch break I got a hair bow made. I’m looking forward to selling these.

Today I’ve been working on the garden boxes.
I went and got some of the wooden crates from the store. I did want to make my own but I saw this idea and wanted to give it a try. I’m staining them red mahogany.

Today I started some seeds. I ordered these just for fun. They are rose seeds. Next week I will be starting my other seeds tomatoes, mint, watermelon, carrots and a few other things. What is it with kids and dinosaurs! All my older kids have at some point been in love with dinosaurs but number four so has been the one who has liked them the longest! A while back he asked me to make him a dino blanket. So when I found this fabric I had to get it for my little dino lover.

I find myself itching for spring! I want to get yard work started but the weather has decided to snow or rain these past few weeks. Normally I love the rainy weather, I love to sit and watch it rain but being a mom of five keeps me busy that’s why I love it when it rains at night. Then I can lay in bed and listen to it come down. Today as it rains I actually wish it would go away. Maybe it’s because I have a lot of projects that I want to do or maybe it’s just because I was looking through my photos and came across this one! Last summer was a good season for me on growing flowers. I’m hoping to have the same this year.

When you have kids you will find your stuff is gonna get broken! Over the years things have gotten broken somethings being able to be saved and somethings not. Today my poor hen (knick knack ) got broken, she has been broken once before. I even was able to glue her back together last time. This time I can’t find all the pieces. My one year is more interested in things that are not his more than his siblings ever were.

Today in the mail I got a nice surprise from a friend. I absolutely love them!
She got me a mug with a rooster ( cockerel) on it and a matching box too! I also made my first try at a bow today after the kids were done with school. I’ll get better with practice!

Snow snow snow! Yay snow.. but it wasn’t a lot for the part of town I’m in, it was like three inches if that🤣🤣🤣. Public school b&m ( brick and mortar) are having a snow day but for us even though we are online public school we do not get a snow day. I’m glad that my kids don’t get upset that they still have to do their school work. #nosnowdayforus #onlineschoollife

My wonderful husband surprised me with a vanity! It’s dusty from being in the box and the kids “helped” put it together with him so there are tiny finger prints all over it.
