My wonderful husband got me a cool looking salt lamp for Christmas!

Our Christmas started off great.. kids enjoyed themselves! Dinner came out great, then we relaxed a little. Just as I was sending the kids up to bed…. the power goes out! We have 4 day old quail chicks. Thanks to the fast thinking of my family we got them out of the brooder and… I sat on my bathroom floor with all of them in my hoodie! Yes you read that right lol.

The power was only out for an hour and half and all the chicks made it! It could of been worse though. Most might think of crazy for putting them in my hoodie and that’s okay.. !

Today was a long day. I hurt my back that has made getting things done a lot harder, also yesterday was my daughter’s birthday! I can’t believe she is eight years old. To see the passing of time in a child’s age makes you cherish the good & bad moments. Okay maybe not all the bad moments like the time she took my nail polish and wrote the number four all over my walls ( I do have to say that her “fours” looked really good).. or the time she threw away my forks but with every bad thing every eye roll they have done there are double of the good moments like when she finally was able to write her name or when she took her first steps! I started out wanting to make placemats but I was not paying attention to which way the fabric was and I messed up! ( first photo the is the front, the second photo is where I messed up)

I could of made the others to look the same but I decided to take this and make the ferrets a new hammock!

My second sons guinea pig passed away Thursday. He was over 3 years of age. Even though he was the worst Guinea pig we ever had my son still loved him. As his siblings came around him to comfort him, I was yet happy and sad. Happy his siblings were there for him but sad I couldn’t take the sadness away from his heart. I do have to say that even though my son is sad about the loss of his pet I will not miss the little jerk .. he would bite me everytime I would clean out his cage or give him food/ water. He was a mean little guy! Even though he was a mean little a-hole I still hope he ended up in heavan and I hope that hes living it up because well if animals do go to hell .. I hope some kid is not biting his elbows like he did to mine! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a safe black Friday if you went shopping! I stayed home with the kids we relaxed and did some cleaning. Sadly our dishwasher is broken 😢. The kids and I are on vacation for a week! Yay, no school. I’ve been looking forward to this for a while. Today we got done with school at a good time so I went out and spent some time with the girls. My one girl wakita was in the nesting box. Out of all the girls she is the one who will peck you if you try to take the eggs she is sitting on.

Wow November already! One of my favorite holidays is Thanksgiving. We rarely celebrate the holiday on the actual date of the holiday, due to my husband work schedule. I actually like celebrating it on another day it teaches my kids that the date doesn’t matter. What matters is that the ones you love and care about are all there with you! 🖤🖤

Cleaning out the girls (chickens) feeders today and Bella decided she wanted to help clean up😂😂.

A fun day today! My good friend set up for a bunch of us to go to the pumpkin patch! The kids had a blast they loved the animals and picking out pumpkins. We even did two corn mazes one was small the corn husks only came up to my hip that’s my kinda corn maze. The other corn maze was normal size corn husks. A few years ago I got lost in a corn maze for about two hours I had visions of my tombstone saying..if only she took that second left she would of made it out of the maze. My kids had made fun of me for getting lost … I had sworn that I wouldn’t ever go into another maze unless I had flares and spray paint! Today when my kids all wanted to go into the big maze my first thought was.. at least this time I have my best friends going in this maze with their families. Now we can all be lost together and maybe we can get a deal on tombstones! Ha ha.

Needless to say we all made it out and had fun … do I ever want to go back into a corn maze… well we will see how brave I am next Halloween!
