Today we celebrate our Father’s Day. I made my husband his two favorite dishes. Then after dinner we went out to make smores 😀. Also spent some time with the girls ( chickens) got this awesome photo of Bella.

she was up on their roosting pole. Watching us make smores😂. I also checked on my garden and I’m very happy with everything so far but I’m very pleased with how well my peas are doing this year.

This week has been a busy week. I got strawberry jam, strawberry kiwi jam, peach jam, kiwi jam, watermelon jam, and mango jam made! new soapdishes were also made! But with all the busyness going on we made time for family movie! The kids enjoyed watching Captain Marvel and eating cheese quesadillas and potato soup for dinner. Today I gave the girls (chickens) some strawberries. Of course they love them but I’m also getting ready for when we get into the upper temperatures. Taking some strawberries, peas, mint, and cut up grapes. Put food in the ice cube tray fill with water and freeze. Then I will have a tasty cold snack for them. This evening I won a free seat at my local painting place. The painting that the artist did for hers had ” wanderlust ” painted on it. I decided for my painting that I would change it and put Delicious Cluckers Farm on mine. I forgot how much I loved painting!

Summer vacation has started for us but it’s been rainy and cold. Its normal to have second winter where I live😂. I plan on getting a lot of things done. Last night I got kiwi jam made it turned out very nice! Today I went out an spent some time with my girls ( chickens) they haven’t been happy about the rain. We are on our last week of school for us. As I can’t wait for summer vacation I do get a little teary-eyed. Packing up their books to be sent back realizing that when we start up again in August four out of the five kids will be in school. My oldest will be going into 11th grade 😱😱 and number 4 will be starting kindergarten.
